On Christmas morning, it has been our tradition to come flying down the stairs to check out what Santa has left under the tree. By afternoon, we headed for Cesar's house in Indianapolis for the Christmas meal and Millie's mom's birthday. This year was a bit different because Papa didn't feel well after a day full of exitement. After the meal and presents, he got worst and had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital emergency. He was diagnosed with a slight heart failure, which the doctor feels was brought on by all the exitement today, and pneumonia. He is still in the hospital as of today but doing a lot better. He is up, eating and just resting. The cardiologist said they'll probably be doing another procedure in a few days when he has rested more. Along the way,we made a stop in Liberty Park in New Jersey for Alex to see the statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. We picked up Monica in Manhattan and went on to our hotel. The next morning, before the wedding, we all relaxed by the hotel swimming pool. Andy(Mao) joined us at the pool and we all had fun.
